Mummy & Daddy is SOOOOO Proud with Princess Peyton !!!!

Unfortunately it was too soon to be relieved as after the first visit to Gleneagles Pead, Peyton started to consume lesser & lesser milk & she starts to breath even more difficult. Mummy was sooo worried so insisted to bring her back to Gleneagles Pead for 2nd review.

We are very fortunate that we have switch her to a different pead for a 2nd opinion, Gleneagles pead suspected that she might have a syndrome that is making her breathing difficult so we were referred to University Malaya Medical Centre immediately.

Poor Princess, she was admitted & docs came & check her that same night & docs keep doing test on her which made her very irritated plus she was extremely hungry but had problem swallowing milk.

At last, the doc diagnosed her problem & she needed a surgery. Both mummy & daddy was so worried & stress. Mummy had to take turns to take care of Peyton in the hospital. Looking at her going through all the test really hurts mummy's heart so much.

But finally, thank God...... Peyton has undergo her surgery & successfully out of it, now being placed for recovery.

Mummy & Daddy praying that Peyton will recover real soon & be home soon too......

Am really glad that we made the right decision to switch to a different pediatrician. Thanks for the recommendation from Sky & Pueh See..... at least this pediatrician shows much effort & time to explain clearly to us what is happening to Princess Peyton.

Well at least we are much relieved now to know that Peyton is not in any danger. Doc says that her jaundice has reached the maximum level and according to her blood group it will not be shooting up any higher and should be coming down slowly already. If by next week can still see her yellow then only bring her back for blood test.

Whilst her breathing unfortunately princess peyton have 3 minor symptoms that comes along together that is why it is making her breathing very noisy especially at night. Peyton has a small nasal path & a small chin which is a little inwards that is why it is resulting her having breathing noises and she has some flam in her too.

According to doc, we will have to wait for her to grow up a little more so that her chin & nasal path will grow bigger too which will then help her have a less noisy breathing.

Poor Peyton had some minor lungs hyperinflation, so she needs to be monitored in ICU for the night..... but she was placed in ICU for 2 nights before she was moved to the nursery for the lights as she had some jaundice......

Baby Peyton only got to discharged from the hospital on Monday but went back for her check up today and here comes the bad news....... her jaundice level went up really high reached 16.6 which is no good. Mummy & Daddy super worry.

Doc told us that she is not drinking enough milk that is why it is not helping her jaundice to go down plus taking in mummy's breast milk now when she is taking in herbs etc.

So the Doc, got the nursery nurse to show mummy how to "Feed" Peyton, as she is suppose to be taking in 3oz milk but the problem is that poor Peyton was "Forced" though the milk and threw up some of it too......

The reason why she can drink 3 oz in the hospital its bcos she was only fed with 1oz before we left the house and waited at the hospital for so long, so she was already hungry......

Mummy tried to feed her 3oz again at 5pm today but then all she could take in was only 1oz and she didnt want to drink anymore......

New mummy & daddy is really worried with her condition now...... thinking to get a second opinion instead as this pediatrician seems to be not very honest with us......

Mummy also headache d have to go in & out of hospital to bring Peyton for check up......

Finally...... Arrival of Baby Peyton !!!

11 March 2010, Thursday at 8am, David & I went to the hospital to get admitted for induce labour. Around 9.15am I was placed with the drip already......around 4 hours later the first bag of drip has finished and I was only 3cm dilated. GOSH.....

So here come the second bag of drip, so here we go again...... Wait, Wait & this time a little pain, Wait & Wait & Pain & Pain........ and OH NO........ second bag of drip is finishing soon and I was told I'm only dilated 6cm....... The nurse told David that 50% I would have to go for operation already.

Around 7pm, nurses called my gynae to seek permission for putting the third bag of drip & here we go the third bag BUT this time, the major pain starts when I started dilating up till 7cm......

PAIN KILLER......... but was told its too late to have any of it, so I was given the gas only which I call it the Laughing Gas cos it makes you drowsy & tired but will NOT take away the pain.

Here comes the worst part..... dilated till around 8 - 9cm and you keep wanting to push, the contraction keeps coming every 1-2 minutes and the contraction last longer already BUT was told NOT TO PUSH, NOT READY......... AIYOOOOOOO !!!!!!

At around 9+ pm I guess..... too pain to tell the time already.... hehe :P The midwife, told me I can now start pushing. Placed me in a very uncomfortable position & asked me to push....... so PUSH, PUSH & more PUSH.......

Then only its time to call the gynae, he came, help me with the pushing but at last needed the vacuum help too....... after another few pushes with the vacuum help....... Poop...... Peyton was born & was placed on my belly with her starting to cry.......

I was so glad but super tired & still super drowsy from the gas & out of breath cos our dear girl came out with her face up, that is why it is so much difficult to have her head out......

Baby Peyton was born at 9.40pm....... mummy was in labour for almost 13 hours...... & lucky thing daddy was around mummy the whole time..... :)

It is TIME !!! Mentally & Physically preparing

After the check up on Monday the 8th March 2010, it was good to hear from the gynae that baby Peyton is very healthy and growing well and according to the scan, she is already weighing 3kg.

The gynae told me that her head is almost engaged and with a 9.0 diameter but also told me that should baby's head grows any bigger I will have problem going in for natural labour with my body & pelvic size. So I have asked for induce labour options, which leads to having the gynae do some check up on my cervics and was told it is already 2cm dilated...... woohooo...... at least some comfort even though there is still 8cm to go.

Gynae said with some dilation happening already, can try to go for induce with pitocin drip to speed up and force the labour to start. Baby Peyton turns full term, 38 weeks today so she can be safely delivered tomorrow.

It is Time then for mummy to be admitted to the hospital tomorrow early morning for the drips. Praying hard that all goes well and a smooth delivery with baby Peyton....

We will be seeing baby Peyton really soon !!!!

Crazy Hot Weather ~ CNY Festival

The weather during CNY is seriously super super hot. Baby Peyton is kicking so much in my tummy when I am super hot & sweaty. When I cool down & remain in the air-con room, Peyton starts to relax & calm down too.... hehe... so cute but I guess Baby Peyton must be afraid of being hot too....

I guess turning 35 weeks tomorrow is making mummy getting more tired & heavy by day especially with the current weather, sweating makes mummy have difficulty in breathing & also looses energy really quick.......

I really cant imagine how am I going to handle no fan, no cooling bath etc during confinement????

33 weeks Check up

OMG.... it started raining around 4+ pm and by the time David & I left the office it was still raining and horrible jam. By the time we arrive at the clinic it was already 7.30pm and doc was seeing patient number 10...... and I am patient number 36 (Gosh).

So no choice, went for dinner and came back, still had to wait for around half hour even though we have spend one hour for dinner...... so wait wait wait.....

It's my turn at last, the nurse called my name but before I can response to it, she already call out another name.... wow, they are seriously in a rush.... trying to rush all the pregnant women to walk faster... hmmmm ????

Anyway at last my turn AGAIN, bp was fine, baby Peyton as usual facing backwards showing us her back. Her head is fully turned down with her buttocks & legs on tops sidewards.

Peyton is now weighing at 2.1 kg = 4.63lbs and mummy have gain weight again.... now weighing 57.4kg.

So our next check up would be after CNY around 36 weeks........ :) Will have more updates by then !!!

31 weeks check up

Wow..... babies do grow really fast in the last trimester. Two weeks ago Peyton was only 800gram, two weeks later Peyton is now weighing at 1.8kg. No wonder I feel my tummy getting so much heavier.

BUT, this is a good sign this means Peyton is getting the food from me and growing healthily. Peyton's head have already turned downwards having her little legs kicking me every day & night but then she is still sleeping with her back facing the front.... hehe.... so throughout all my check ups, Peyton only shown her face & front twice, the rest of the time she is showing her back :P So cute.

4D Ultrasound ~ 2nd Attempt Fail !!!

Purposely left the office early to head down for my doctor's appointment which was suppose to be at 12.30pm. Reached there on time but very unfortunate I had to wait for the doc today as he was called out for emergency delivery and he had like at least 6 patients in front of me waiting to see him.

I waited for about 1 hour and at last it was my turn but then the minute I stepped into the room, the doctor asked me to return in another hours time as he will have to see me last due to 4D scan will take time plus it is time for my detailed check up too.

Went for a quick bite, at last the doctor only able to see me at around 2.20pm. Gosh..... waited for so long. Doctor took my pressure as normal and then its time to go for the scan....

Pretty excited as would really want to see Peyton's feature BUT....... the minute the doctor scan we both can see a very clear string of Peyton's backbone..... AWWW..... my lil baby is hugging me again and showing her back.

The doctor was really patience, took around 1/2 hour trying to turn my lil baby around but then still failure.....

Well looks like Peyton want to give daddy & mummy a surprise. Ladies & Gentlemen, we all have to wait for Peyton's arrival in March then we will be able to see her beautiful features. :)

But its back to having check up every 2 weeks time and was told when its nearer to due date it will be once a week.... Gosh... have to wait in long lines to see the doc again...... Hehe....

First 4D ultrasound attempt FAIL !!!

David and I was hoping and was so excited over the 4D ultrasound as we would really want to see Peyton's feature etc but then our precious little one is pretty mischievous, not only she was sleeping in a very weird position which it is difficult for the doctor to get a good focus but she even uses her arm to cover up her whole face.

The doctor tried for 10 minutes to move her to a different direction and at last..... she really did move but then she still had her arms on her face covering up. I guess Peyton is shy....:)

Well the doctor had no choice but to re-schedule another date for the next 4D ultrasound attempt again. Round 2 will be on January 5th 2010, Peyton would be around 29 weeks then. Hopefully this time she will be a good girl and show daddy & mummy her pretty face.

Next journey ~ 4D Ultrasound Scan

Well gender of the baby is now verified. Next journey for both of us would be to do the 4D ultrasound scan which the doctor have arrange it on the 15th December at 12.30pm onwards which is around my pregnancy week 26. According to the doctor the 4D ultrasound scan will take around 30 minutes at least. So smart doctor...... all his 4D ultrasound appointments are done during non-consulting hours and only available at his clinic in Pantai Cheras.....

Looks like no choice but to go with his timing or else no 4D...... cos no 4D is done during Saturdays and at night at his other clinic. What to do.... popular doctor.... Anyhow, am excited to see Peyton through 4D soon.

It's a Girl !!!!

Am very lucky that the doctor came a little late today and the clinic open a little late today too so I was the fourth in line (phew at last no need to wait so long)...... as usual went and took my weight, Gosh am weighing 51.6kg already, increase by 8 kg from my original weight..... I wonder how fast I can drop those back and back in shape after birth..... ?????

Our precious baby all healthy and good, saw the little one's mouth opening and closing too :P and then at last...... doctor told us both that confirm and congrats...... IT'S A BABY GIRL !!!!

Finally, daddy & mummy get to know that we are expecting a beautiful princess. We can now go get some pinky & girly sweet stuff for baby.

We can now stop calling our precious one "Baby", instead she will be called "Peyton Soo"....... Er.... as for chinese name "No Idea Yet" ????

So excited..... Docs Check up Tomorrow !!!!

Sooooooo excited..... its time for daddy & mummy to see our little precious baby through the ultrasound.... Hehehe..

Its the next check up with the docs and hopefully precious baby will show us whether its a baby boy or gal by tomorrow. Of course praying that precious one is growing strong and healthy too.

Will keep you all informed with the baby's gender once we know.... !!!!!

Our precious baby just got a new white baby cot with blue beary bedding sets and cot bumpers along with a pretty expensive latex mattress too. BUT lucky thing, we got a good deal off the baby cot fair. Can't wait to fix up the baby cot for our precious one but then we will only be able to do that when we fix up the house etc.......

Belly growing bigger already. Baby growing and actively moving inside especially at night when I want to sleep. :) Count down another 7 days for my next check up and I should be able to know the gender. Even betting session is done by some of my friends and relatives on the baby's gender already. Hehe...... I wonder who wil WIN !!!!

Oohhh La La..... Nice & Yummilicious food, even baby enjoyed it very very much. Special thanks to Sharon & also to Joyce's special Yam Rice which is superb too. Our own made "Sukiyaki". Step by step....
We were all too hungry, forgotten to take the final picture when the "Sukiyaki" is fully cooked. Only remembered to take picture of the making... hehe.... :P But seriously a YUMMY !!!

Baby's daddy is getting really excited as he could now feel his precious little one's movement by touching my belly. So every night his usual night activity before going to bed was to surf the internet for his NBA Fantasy outlook but right now it will be talking to baby and touching my belly. :) That is really so adorable and cute.

It is really amazing being able to feel the baby's movement gradually getting more and more active. Hopefully in the next check up this little one will be in a good position for daddy & mummy to view clearly.

Baby's Development from week 6 - 20

Our Lovely baby when we first found out about it. Little fellow at 6 weeks old with the length of 20.4mm.

Baby at 8 weeks old with the length of 21.6mm. It is such incredible how two cells can grown into such a lovely thing.

Baby at week 10 with 33.5mm. Now you can start to see little baby's head and arms developing.

Week 12 with 5.3cm. Now we can start using centimeters on precious baby. Baby's arms and legs are more visible now.

Baby now at week 15 with 8.6cm in length. This little one is now very good in toasting and turning around. I can already feel this little ones movement. On another hand finally at the second trimester too.

Week 20, baby is now at 5 months old. This little fellow now weights around 375g. Anyhow the doctor told me that the gender is still unclear so will have to wait till the next check up to verify. Hopefully by then we would all know whether this precious little one is a baby boy or girl.
Baby is already very active inside my tummy, always moving and kicking around. Can't wait to see my precious baby through 4D ultrasound.
